The Northeast Vista is located on the outer northeast side of the track along the north end of the backstretch and through turn 3. The Northeast Vista is bordered on the west by North Vista and on the south by a golf course.

According to a count in 2004 count conducted by the Indianapolis Star, the Northeast Vista is the largest grandstand and has 38,940 seats.

The Northeast Vista sections start at section 50 on the backstretch next to the golf course and continues through section 1 which is just past the apex of turn 3. Each section has 40 rows except section 49 which has 16 rows and section 50 with 11 rows. The Northeast Vista also has a two-row upper deck, and houses the network TV camera that covers that part of the track. Sections 1-25 are “Turn Seating” and sections 26-50 are “Backstretch Seating”. Turn Seating is $5 more per ticket than Backstretch Seating.
