rss "A" Stand Ticket Seat Photos
We have the best listing of Indy 500 seats, along with the best prices for this years race.
A Stand has 15,234 seats and is located on the outer west side of the track along the front straight. It starts across from the entrance to Gasoline Alley and ends across from the south end of the pit wall, just before the entrance to turn one. A Stand is bordered on the north by the Paddock and on the south by B Stand.
A Stand’s Lower Boxes are the closest to the track and comprise rows B through T. The Lower Boxes start at box 31 on the north side next to the Paddock and run through box 1 on the south side next to B Stand. Boxes 27 and 28 are directly across from the Scoring Pylon.
A Stand’s Upper Boxes are higher and further away from the track than the Lower Boxes and comprise rows AA through VV. The Upper Boxes start at box 45 on the north side next to the Paddock and run through box 33 on the south side next to B Stand. Boxes 43 and 44 are directly across from the Scoring Pylon.
The photos in this section were taken in Grandstand A. This grandstand is on the outside of the track along the front straightaway near the first turn. Like the Paddock, about half of this grandstand is covered by the Penthouse that sits on top of it, so many seats in this section offer cover from sun and rain. It is difficult to see cars coming out of turn 4 from these seats, but turn 1 and the south end of the pits should be in clear view.
